Royal BMX/MTB Jam 26th June ft. Darren Pokoj

Darren Pokoj will DEFINITELY be in Launceston for a ride jam at Royal Skate Park on the 26th June. The event has been initiated by Lydia Nettlefold, mother of our late friend Ed Bonnin. We hope to promote mtb/bmx riding in Tasmania and raise awareness for depression & suicide.

Support will come from Red Bull, Eds Threds, Backflip Clothing Co and Bossen.

All funds raised will go the Nettlefold Foundation. Please come along and make this a day to remember!

Meeting Time: Saturday 26th June 2010 - 11am

Hey everyone,

There has been rain today but the forecast is for no more rain tonight and tomorrow so the jam is going ahead as planned.

Quick request - if any of you have some ramps (ghetto is good!) you can bring along on the day for added fun then please do so.

Darren Pokoj is in Launceston now, he will be at the jam all day riding, mentoring and judging the best riders to receive prizes. There is also some sponsorship opportunities that Darren can help with if he thinks you've got what it takes.
