Well I don't mean that like "duh, what a N00b!", but more that internet hearsay + inexperience in how bikes actually work is pretty good at giving things an undeserved bad name. Considering that you can buy a brand new 6" Stance S/C fork for $599, they actually appear to be quite well made and work outrageously well for the price.

That's one expensive beer...!

I had a pair of Stance Flows about 4 years ago, gave them an absolute thrashing, and they took everything i gave it - including whistler bike park antics...

So i'd suggest floody is right - stances (if maintained correctly - like any other fork) should treat you well, and extremely well priced for a new fork!
