08 Aus Singlespeed Nationals! - April 19-20

Posted Feb 28 2008 04:58PM by Guiver

08 Aus Singlespeed Nationals are coming to the Glenorchy MTB park this April!

Hot damn, the 2008 Australian Singlespeed Nationals are getting loose in Tasmania! April 19 & 20 will see two days of bike riding, beer drinking, wild dancing and other rowdy antics hitting Hobart. The pre-race activities will include a BBQ and some sight-seeing riding around the streets and trails of Hobart, before the party truly gets underway. Roller racing, heavy drinking, live music, and general debauchery will be the theme of the evening, designed to see everyone suitably hungover and haggard for the next day's racing. The race itself will be held in the lovely surrounds of the Glenorchy Mountain Bike Park, and anything goes so long as it's got one gear. The less clothing the better! This is just an early warning shot across the bow, more information as it develops! To keep up to date with everything, head to the Bottles And Chains website and join the mailing list on the SS Nats page. ALL THE DETAILS HERE!

New site online

Posted Jul 26 2007 03:41PM by admin

I was going to leave this for a while but have had to hurry things along at short notice.

As you can see, the site has been re-designed. It's all pretty basic for now, but watch out for new areas appearing in the menu as they get finished.

There is also a new major version of the forum (version 3) which includes lots of great new features. I think all the data has come across okay, except maybe some avatars might be missing.

I'll be adding new stuff and fixing/changing the new theme a fair bit, so if you have any ideas or constructive criticisms please go post about it in the Site Feedback forum.

Have fun!

-Tim
